Reporting to: Facilities Manager

Role Overview
The Cleaner will report to the Facilities Manager managing cleans across our sites including both communal and end of tenancy ensuring works are resolved effectively.
This role will provide coverage across our sites in the Wirral.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface Cleaning:Dusting wiping and polishing furniture windows and other surfaces.
- Floor Care:Vacuuming carpets sweeping uncarpeted areas and mopping.
- Kitchen cleaning:Cleaning ovens counters and other kitchen appliances.
- Bathroom cleaning:Cleaning and disinfecting toilets showers and other bathroom fixtures.
- Waste management: Maintaining site cleanliness and removing waste where needed.
- Stock management:Checking stock levels of cleaning supplies and refilling toiletries toilet paper and paper towels.
- Equipment maintenance:Performing basic maintenance on cleaning tools and equipment reporting any defects or faults.
- Health and Safety:Following all health and safety procedures including the proper use of cleaning in the improvement of Health & Safety standards across all sites
- Client interaction: Reporting maintenance issues and other concerns.
- Work collaboratively and engage with other teams within the business.
- Take the initiative to perform cleaning and tidying tasks that are not specifically contained within the rota but require attention as part of maintaining overall high standards
- Support the delivery of continuous improvement action plans
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all
Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role with confidence carrying out general cleaning tasks.
- A full UK driving license.
- Good communication.
- Competent with IT.
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Being physically capable and self motivated.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of COSSH and the safe use of chemicals.
- A positive can-do attitude and a flexible approach to your working day.
- Awareness of Health and Safety practices for yourself and others on site as they relate to the operation of cleaning equipment and the dilution of cleaning chemicals.
- Willingness to work flexibly including outside normal hours when needed to maintain service continuity.
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Good practical skills across a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.

Additional Information
*This role will initially be appointed on a three-month fixed-term contract with a view to extending to permanent employment if successful.
The successful candidate must by the start of the employment have permission to work in the UK.
