Responsibilities
Community Health Partners part of Community Health System the regions largest healthcare system and home to the only Level I Trauma Center provides trusted high-quality care within multiple specialties in outpatient settings across the Valley. As an RN First Assistant (RNFA) for Community Health Partners Urology team youll play a vital role in the surgical environment collaborating directly with surgeons and care teams to support exceptional outcomes and patient experiences.
- Provide intraoperative support under the direct supervision of the surgeon assisting with surgical exposure hemostasis and other technical functions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Function as a Scrub Nurse or Circulating Nurse when not serving as the RNFA maintaining readiness to support surgical cases across multiple specialties.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to uphold safety sterile technique and evidence-based best practices in every procedure.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the surgical team by anticipating surgeon and patient needs while fostering a collaborative patient-centered environment.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing Public Health Physiology Healthcare or related field
- Successful completion of an RNFA program that meets the Association of Perioperative RN (AORN) standards
- Credentialed by the CHS Medical Staff Office as an Allied Health Professional and privileged to perform RN First Assistant standardized procedures
- 1 year of relevant experience
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
