The Plant Admin Assistant provides overall administrative support for general plant operationsand all departments with the scope of the role involves preparing various documents reports supporting multiple departmentsaswell as buying/purchasingand scheduling duties ensuring smooth operations within the plant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greetsand directs clients and applicants ensures visitors are signed in and announces their arrival toappropriatepartiesand fields and relays incoming calls. Coordinates incoming andoutgoing mail.
Responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the office area includingthe availability of office suppliesbranded itemsemployee and visitorfood and catering services.
Point of contactforschedulingpurchasingandreconciling forjanitorial uniformvending servicesand other frequent vendorsincluding PPE.
Serves as a backup for reconcilingandprocessingPOrelated items.
With functional direction supports and coordinatesemployee activities and events including training auditstoursengagementrecognition orientationsetc.
Coordinatesand schedulesdaily weekly & monthly production meetings andcoordinates andupdateany associatedreports for staff
Activelyparticipatein all plant activities including training safety continuous improvement etc.
May provideadditionaladministrativesupportforplant departments toassistwith ongoing activities andstand-aloneprojects.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
1 3 yearsof experience in an administrative role preferably supporting and manufacturingoperations.
Basic experiencein purchasingbookkeepingand schedulingeither manually or with electronic systems.
Excellentcomputer skillsincluding MS Office andpreferred experiencein using ERP/MRP systems
Excellent customer service skills will be interacting with internal and external customers.
Mustbe flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced setting.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multi-task and work under deadlines.
OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily office based butmayspendoccasionaltime on the plant floorand be able to support all areas of the plant.
May be exposed to frequent loudnoiseand weather conditions while on the plant floor.
May haveto lift office supplies or equipment up to 50pounds on occasion.
Must becomfortable wearing required PPE while on the plant floor.
The compensation for this position is typically $22/ actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills experience geographical location and internal compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
