Direct Sales Adviser

Egypt - Hybrid

As the Individual segment Direct Sales consultant you will actively build a portfolio of new business sales leads to sell and grow our direct business in line with agreed targets and deliver these targets with the highest level of customer care. Through regular and positive contact you will identify opportunities to expand the individual direct portfolio including working on the leads referred to by the Lead Qualifier. You will swiftly and accurately respond to all customer sales requests and queries relating to purchasing. Customer contact will be across all communication channels phone email and face to face. You will build strong relationships with your portfolio by delivering exceptional service. And you will be supporting your onboarded customers in all issues that needs escalation to internal stakeholders as you will be liaising and facilitating to ensure effective handling of all issues and referred cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • understand the needs of the customers and take proactive action to help them find the right product
  • understand how to deal with and resolve complex queries working with your colleagues to identify continuous improvements and ensure that the customer is kept updated throughout the resolution process whilst ensuring processes are updated to avoid repeated issues.
  • They must consider and abide by the Data Protection Act and the guidelines regulations and standards set out by FRA
  • Build profitable relationships with customers by delivering the highest standard of support with an emphasis on proactively
  • Pro-actively seek out new business through effective Pipeline management and existing customer contact strategies to ensure.
  • ongoing growth of segment in a targeted way to deliver profitable business to ensure business targets are achieved.
  • Handle all sides of the sales process for the leads assigned to you including identifying demands and needs quotations pricing discussions negotiations customer meetings new business paper work and KYC and all sales needs while negotiating these through outbound and inbound contact.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity products and trends sharing all new information with colleagues and use this information
    during negotiations to secure and maintain profitable business.
  • Keep updated on marketing campaigns and communications within your region and share knowledge of this across the team.

What Were Looking For

  • Sales background in the global health insurance market or relevant transferable skills and knowledge from other financial services industries such as Life Insurance Retail Commercial or Investment Banking and Wealth Management.
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving new business targets and continually demonstrating application in this key area Business/commercial acumen on pricing/contract issues.

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Skill and ability to adopt a consultative approach to effect problem solving and to explore options which ensure potential within a client account is maximised for the benefit of Bupa Global

  • Fluent understanding of risk and pricing strategy.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
