Trading Analyst Night Shift

Gamdom is a leading Cryptocurrency iGaming operator known for innovation and excellence in the online betting space. Were expanding our trading team and are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trading Analyst (Night Shift) to ensure the accuracy efficiency and integrity of our sportsbook operations during CET night hours.

Key Responsibilities

Daily:
Monitor betting activity in real-time through ticker systems to identify and flag irregular or risky patterns.

• Report top event liabilities at the end of each shift.
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting on trading activity including bet rejections and potential profit/loss impacts.
• Analyze connected user accounts and related betting behavior drafting detailed reports for senior management.

Weekly:

• Conduct user categorization analysis and recommend individual measures.
• Propose updates to the Customer Classification Framework (CCF) based on insights.
• Identify and report on emerging sports or league-specific trends.

Monthly:

• Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing overall sports and betting performance.
• Highlight top user activity and deliver actionable insights for strategic decisions.

Ad Hoc

• Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for customer support queries via internal communication channels.
• Draft on-demand trading reports for specific users or scenarios as required.

Required Qualifications
Experience

• Proven experience in a sportsbook trading or risk management role is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of sports betting markets odds compilation and trading dynamics.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with sportsbook trading systems and tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data tools such as Python R or SQL (statistical modeling a plus).

Analytical Abilities

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven time-sensitive decisions.
• Skilled at detecting trends patterns and anomalies within large datasets.

Communication Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capable of presenting complex data in a clear concise and actionable format.

Attention to Detail

• Exceptional accuracy and thoroughness in reporting and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-Solving Skills

• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational or analytical issues efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MTS and OTS platforms.
• Passion for sports and deep knowledge of market trends and customer behavior.

Familiarity with machine learning or predictive modeling in sports betting is a plus.
