About the Role
Are you an experienced Contract Manager ready to take the next step in your career
Join Ground Control an award-winning external maintenance and environmental services company and lead operations across Mullingar Cavan and Drogheda and surrounding areas
in a role where no two days are the same.
Youll oversee vegetation management contracts around power lines and pylons ensuring safe efficient and high-quality delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your leadership operational and client management skills in a business committed to sustainability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee contract performance ensuring work is delivered safely on time and within budget
- Act as the main client liaison maintaining strong relationships and resolving issues quickly
- Lead and develop your team of Project Managers
- Manage financial performance including forecasting profit and loss and revenue targets
- Champion health safety and environmental standards across all projects
What Were Looking For
Wed love to hear from you if you have experience in Arboriculture Forestry Grounds Maintenance Utilities or similar field-based service industries. We will consider applications from candidates with experience outside of these areas if you can demonstrate the skills below.
Youll also bring:
- Proven experience in contract and financial management
- Strong team leadership and people development skills
- Excellent communication negotiation and relationship-building abilities with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to plan and organise yourself as well as your team simultaneously whilst maintaining a vision for the future
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Confidence using MS Office GIS systems Power BI and contract management tools
This is a field-based role across Mullingar Cavan and Drogheda and surrounding areas with the flexibility to work from home when not on-site.
A full driving licence is required.
