SEND Teacher | Inclusive Primary School in Bexley

We are seeking a compassionate skilled and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive special educational needs setting working with pupils who have Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). SEN Teacher (MLD) Responsibilities
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with MLD.
Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to promote engagement independence and progress.
Assess and monitor pupil development maintaining accurate records and contributing to EHCP reviews.
Work closely with teaching assistants therapists and external professionals to provide holistic support.
Foster a positive structured and inclusive classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support childrens learning and wellbeing.
Contribute to the wider life of the school promoting inclusion and celebrating achievement.

SEN Teacher (MLD) Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties or within a SEND setting.
Strong understanding of SEND frameworks differentiation and inclusive classroom practice.
Excellent communication organisation and teamwork skills.
A patient empathetic and resilient approach to supporting childrens diverse needs.
Passion for helping every child achieve success academically and personally.
