Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan and deliver daily phonics guided reading and carefully sequenced writing and mathematics lessons as the Year 2 Teacher.
Use formative assessment to identify gaps and run targeted interventions as the Year 2 Teacher.
Lead transition to Year 3 communicate with parents and attend moderation sessions positioned around January 2026 as the Year 2 Teacher. The Year 2 Teacher will be in post and teaching from January 2026.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
QTS and demonstrable KS1 experience expected of the Year 2 Teacher.
Passionate about phonics confident with assessment and an effective communicator as the Year 2 Teacher.
Available to prepare prior to January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 2 Teacher.
