A highly regarded independent 1118 school in Buckingham is seeking an enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join their Science Department from January 2026. The school has approximately 820 pupils a warm and inclusive ethos and a record of outstanding academic achievement.

About the Role
This full-time permanent position offers the opportunity to teach Physics across KS3KS5 in small motivated classes. You will deliver lessons that blend theory and experimentation helping students develop a deep understanding of key scientific concepts. The school encourages creative teaching curiosity and inquiry through practical learning.
Facilities include specialist physics laboratories data-logging software and modern experimental equipment. The department also runs the schools STEM Club Robotics Team and Physics Olympiad preparation sessions.
You will also:
Support Sixth Form students applying for STEM university courses
Lead or assist in co-curricular science competitions and events
Contribute to cross-departmental collaboration with DT and Computer Science

Experience and Qualifications
QTS/PGCE and degree in Physics or related field
Experience teaching GCSE and A Level desirable
Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
