The successful Year 6 Teacher will be invited to pre-term planning ahead of the January 2026 start attend a comprehensive induction in January 2026 and take-up classroom duties from January 2026 as the Year 6 Teacher. (Year 6 Teacher) Responsibilities
As Year 6 Teacher you will design and deliver high-quality English and maths sequences focusing on reasoning comprehension and independent writing as the Year 6 Teacher.
The Year 6 Teacher will lead SATs preparation where applicable run targeted booster groups and use assessment data to drive rapid progress as the Year 6 Teacher.
The Year 6 Teacher will coordinate transition to secondary schools lead parent transition meetings and mentor junior colleagues as part of the Year 6 Teacher role. The Year 6 Teacher will be involved in planning before January 2026 and will teach from January 2026.

(Year 6 Teacher) Requirements
QTS (or equivalent) and proven Upper KS2 experience required of the Year 6 Teacher.
The Year 6 Teacher should demonstrate excellent classroom leadership data literacy and the ability to inspire resilient learners.
Available for pre-term preparation and induction in January 2026 and able to begin teaching from January 2026 as the Independent Schools Year 6 Teacher.
