Registered Nurse (RN)Pediatric Cath Lab

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing catheterization procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions before during and after procedures ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on procedures post-operative care and overall health management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Participate in training and mentoring of nursing staff and students in the pediatric cath lab environment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices within the cath lab.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Nursing.
- Specialization: Peds Cath Lab background and expertise in pediatric care.
- Licensure: Valid nursing license to practice in the state of South Carolina.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric cath lab or related clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with patients families and healthcare teams.
- Experience with the latest technologies and techniques in pediatric cardiac care.
