Job Summary
ToysReloved is building the circular future of play. We give pre-loved toys a second life by combining technology automation and craftsmanship. Our goal is to make sustainable choices easy affordable and scalable through data-driven automation and smart product workflows.
We are now looking for a Data & Automation Engineer who wants to help us build the data backbone of a circular e-commerce platform that connects toys families and impact.
Tasks
- Maintain and expand n8n workflows for product grading description pricing and marketplace integration.
- Support and extend the ToyBase data model (Postgres) ensuring clean interfaces with Bubble.
- Build and maintain Python scripts for scraping data cleaning and benchmarking.
- Integrate e-commerce APIs (Shopify Amazon refurbed Kleinanzeigen etc.).
- Ensure data quality validation and benchmarking using existing frameworks.
- Work closely with graders and operations teams to reduce product creation time through smart automation.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Python for data processing and API integration.
- Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
- Understanding of data modeling and database management (Postgres preferred).
- Ability to structure and validate data (JSON schemas test frameworks).
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Claude Copilot Cursor).
- Hands-on mindset able to translate business needs into automation.
- Optional but valued: experience with or Shopify integrations.
- Proficiency in English or German.
