Guaranteed Hours: (40 hours/week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our radiology team in San Angelo TX. This is a full-time permanent role working the evening shift (2 PM 12 AM) offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work with a team of dedicated imaging professionals. The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans as ordered by physicians ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation
Prepare and position patients for MRI exams in a safe and comfortable manner
Explain procedures and address patient concerns to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
Operate MRI scanners and related equipment with accuracy and efficiency
Monitor patients during procedures and follow all safety protocols (including screening for contraindications such as metal implants pacemakers etc.)
Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure quality care

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of hands-on MRI technologist experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an ARRT-approved MRI program.
Active ARRT (R) MRI certification mandatory.
Valid MRT license from the State of Texas.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
