Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate will design develop and maintain backend systems and APIs ensuring scalability performance and security across distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop test and deploy backend services and APIs using Python frameworks (FastAPI Flask or Django).
Integrate applications with Azure Cloud services including Azure Functions Azure App Service and Azure SQL.
Design and manage RESTful APIs for data exchange and integration.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Azure DevOps.
Work closely with frontend developers DevOps engineers and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
Write efficient reusable and testable code while following best practices.
Monitor application performance and optimize backend operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

9 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer using Python.
Strong experience with Azure Cloud Services (App Services Functions Storage Azure SQL etc.).
Proficiency in REST API development and microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Solid understanding of database design (SQL & NoSQL).
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2 JWT).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with serverless architecture in Azure.
Familiarity with message queues (Azure Service Bus Kafka RabbitMQ).
Understanding of data security and compliance in cloud environments.
