Job Summary
Your Role:
- Organize and oversee estimating activities for assigned projects
- Compile complete estimates under the supervision of the Director of Pre-Construction
- Cultivate relationships with subcontractors vendors and clients
- Mentor and coach Estimators within the Building Group
- Lead preconstruction meetings and provide meeting minutes
- Review and refine budgets bids proposals and summaries
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding value engineering and budget updates
- Provide drawing reviews for constructability and value engineering
- Develop and improve estimating procedures
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 10 years of experience in competitive bid and conceptual budgeting
- Thorough knowledge of construction industry practices codes and regulations
- Strong leadership mentoring and communication skills
- Proficiency in estimating software (On-Screen and Timberline a plus) and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational and time management skills
