Role Description
Lead the piping design team for oil and gas EPC projects responsible for designing and developing piping systems using 3D modelling software.
Develop and review project plans schedules and budgets.
Develop Plot Plan and Equipment Layout.
Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and identify project requirements.
Design and develop piping systems using 3D modelling software (e.g. AutoCAD Plant 3D PDMS). Model Review and Tag closure with the customers.
Create and manage 3D models including piping layouts pipe sizing and valve and fitting selection.
Perform piping stress analysis and support design using software like CEASAR-II. Generation of Loading Data for Civil/Structural disciplines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process mechanical civil structural and E&I disciplines.
Manage and review design deliverables including drawings specifications and technical reports.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material procurement and construction.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g. ASME API)
Review of P&IDs.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 20 years of experience in piping design for oil and gas EPC projects.
Strong knowledge of piping systems industry standards and regulations.
Advanced skills in 3D modelling software (e.g. AutoCAD Plant 3D PDMS).
Experience with piping stress analysis and support design software.
Excellent leadership communication and project management skills.
