Steinkopf Versorgingsdienste (Huis EJ Appies en Immanuel Sentrum vir Gestremdes) is n program van Badisa n gesamentlike bedieningsaksie van die NG Kerk Wes-Kaapland en VGKSA Kaapland. Aansoeke van gemotiveerde persone met bewese bestuursagtergrond en n positiewe lewensingesteldheid teenoor bejaardes en gestremde persone word vir hierdie betrekking ingewag.

Die aangewese kandidaat sal regstreeks aan die Beheerraad rapporteer met die opdrag om die strategiese visie te operasionaliseer deur doelgerigte bestuurstake en die optimale benutting van hulpbronne en dienste. Daar sal van die posbekleër verwag word om voorsiening te maak vir die versorging van ouer en gestremde persone in n veilige en vriendelike omgewing asook die ontwikkeling van gemeenskapsgebaseerde dienste vir ouer en gestremde persone.

Die bestuurder is verantwoordelik vir die algehele bestuur en gehalteversekering van die fasiliteite wat insluit: Toesig oor die verpleegsorgdienste finansies en menslike hulpbronbestuurfunksies in samewerking met die multi-dissiplinêre span Bemarking kommunikasie en fondswerwing om te verseker dat die tehuis volhoubare toepaslike dienste kan bied Batebestuur en instandhouding van die beroepsgesondheid- en veiligheidsprogram Skakeling en netwerking met belanghebbendes en die bou van langtermyn verhoudings met strategiese vennote.

Die ideale kandidaat beskik oor n naskoolse kwalifikasie (toepaslike graad in Bestuur en/of Sosiale Wetenskappe) die vermoë om n span te lei en te motiveer asook om probleemareas vroegtydig te identifiseer en op te los.

Kennis en ervaring van personeel- en finansiële bestuur arbeidswetgewing fondswerwing en bemarking asook rekenaarvaardigheid is verdere vereistes. Vorige bestuurservaring en begrip vir die unieke uitdagings en operasionele dinamika van maatskaplike sorg en ontwikkelingswerk sal as n sterk aanbeveling dien.

Steinkopf Care Facilities (Huis EJ Appies and Immanuel Centre for the Disabledis a programme of Badisa a joint ministry action of the Dutch Reformed Church (Western Cape) and the United Reformed Church of South Africa (Cape). Applications are invited from motivated people with a proven management background and a positive attitude towards the elderly.

The designated candidate will report directly to the Governing Board tasked with operationalising the strategic vision through targeted management tasks and the optimal utilisation of resources and services. The incumbent will be expected to provide for the care of the elderly and the disabled in a safe and friendly environment as well as the development of community-based services for older and disabled persons.

The manager is responsible for the overall management and quality control of the facilities which includes: Supervision of the nursing care services financial and human resource management functions in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team Marketing communication and fundraising to ensure that the home can offer sustainable more appropriate services Asset management and maintenance of the occupational health and safety programme Liaison and networking with stakeholders and building long-term relationships with strategic partners.

The ideal candidate has a post-matric qualification (appropriate degree in Management and/or Social Sciences) the ability to lead and motivate a team as well as the ability to identify and resolve problem areas early.

Knowledge and experience of personnel and financial management labour legislation fundraising and marketing as well as computer skills are further requirements. Previous management experience and understanding of the unique challenges and operational dynamics related to social care and development work will serve as a strong recommendation.
