A leading financial services provider is looking to appoint a Regional Manager International Investments to take charge of its offshore distribution strategy across the Western Cape region. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic relationship-driven environment and is ready to lead a team while managing a key intermediary portfolio.

This Cape Town-based position plays a pivotal role in executing the national offshore investment strategy and supporting business growth through professional intermediary engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Offshore Specialists across various regions
  • Drive the implementation of the international distribution strategy across key channels
  • Develop and execute a regional business plan focused on intermediary growth retention and support
  • Manage intermediary relationships and increase international investment flows
  • Provide investment education marketing support and sales enablement to intermediaries and support staff
  • Coordinate marketing content and contribute to the offshore product and campaign strategy
  • Deliver presentations technical training and practice management support to intermediaries
  • Provide market insights including competitor trends and regulatory updates
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance (FAIS FICA TCF) and act as a Category I authorised representative
  • Maintain effective internal and external SLAs and stakeholder relationships
  • Manage administrative functions and consultant support within the team

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in financial distribution with proven leadership experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in finance or investments
  • RE5 qualification required
  • Strong technical knowledge of international investment products and trends
  • Experience supporting and developing independent financial advisor (IFA) practices
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Prior approval as an authorised representative is advantageous
