Our client is seeking a globally experienced Financial Controller to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible forthe integrity scalability and strategic insight of the companysaccounting function. You will be required to build systems and people that let the CEO sleep at nightand impress lenders investors and tax authorities will report to the CEO act as de-facto CFO and oversee our year one youll cut the close to three days migrate key entities from cash to accrual and stand-up a three-layer accounting team (junior senior lead).

The duties of this position entail:

Lead monthly quarterly and annual closes across 100 legal entities; manage consolidations intercompany eliminations and minority-interest reconciliations.
Serve as primary liaison for external auditors tax advisors and banking partners; ensure clean audits and timely filings.
Build refine and enforce internal controls policies and procedures across finance and procurement.
Deliver executive reporting: dashboarding financial KPIs and investor decks for board and fundraising use.
Support budgeting forecasting scenario modeling and strategic planning processes.
Mentor and grow junior/mid-level accounting and finance staff.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

Matric
Bachelors in Accounting or similar; CPA strongly preferred
810 years total experience including 3 years as Controller/Assistant Controller; CPA highly preferred.
Fluent English (C1/C2) with the ability to present financials to non-finance leaders.
Mastery of U.S. GAAP consolidations and multi-entity real-estate accounting;
Yardi power-user depth; advanced Excel/Power BI.
Experience with OCR/AP automation (AvidXchange ) or Tableau.
