We are hiring a Staff Nurse Operating Theatre (Recovery) for a leading Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
- Utilise clinical assessment skills to identify patient needs develop document and update individualised care plans.
- Provide high-quality nursing care following best practice policies and NMBI standards.
- Implement monitor and evaluate care plans ensuring timely documentation and adjustment as patient needs change.
- Respect patient dignity and confidentiality while advocating for their health safety and wellbeing.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Provide patient education prepare discharge plans from admission and promote self-care and continuity of care.
- Take responsibility for continuous learning maintain competency and support the education of colleagues and students.
- Adhere to infection prevention health and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in audits data collection and quality initiatives to enhance care standards and outcomes.
- Maintain professionalism through punctuality appropriate appearance flexibility and adherence to hospital policies and mission.
Requirements
- Registered with the NMBIs general division
- At least three years of theater recovery experience
- Proof of individual professional growth
- Continuous skill development that is pertinent to the care needed for the patient caseload

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in General qualification in Perioperative Nursing or Theatre Nursing is desirable.
