Job Summary

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead to take end-to-end ownership of testing across multiple component teams for a commercial insurance program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in integration testing API/web service testing (JSON/SOAP) and excellent stakeholder management skills. A solid understanding of commercial insurance concepts is essential and experience with Selenium automation will be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end test strategy planning execution and release readiness across multiple component teams.
Define and implement the integration testing approach between services and systems ensuring comprehensive cross-team test coverage.
Design develop and execute functional regression and integration test suites. Ensure defects are logged tracked triaged and resolved efficiently.
Validate APIs and message formats using JSON and SOAP leveraging SoapUI or equivalent tools.
Collaborate closely with product owners architects developers and operations teams to identify and resolve system-level issues and manage dependencies.
Establish and maintain test metrics dashboards and quality gates to inform release decisions and promote continuous improvement.
Mentor and guide both manual and automation testers reviewing test artifacts to ensure adherence to best practices.
Participate in release planning risk assessments and post-release validation activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading end-to-end and integration testing across multiple teams in a complex program environment.
Strong hands-on expertise in API/web service testing using JSON and SOAP protocols.
Proficiency in tools such as SoapUI (or similar) for REST and SOAP API validation.
Solid understanding of commercial insurance concepts workflows and common product flows.
Excellent stakeholder management communication and cross-team coordination skills.
Demonstrated experience in test planning strategy definition and driving execution to meet delivery timelines.
Familiarity with defect lifecycle management and test management tools such as JIRA TestRail or HP ALM.

Good to Have

Experience with S360 or other commercial insurance platforms.
Hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium and related frameworks.
Exposure to JSON schema validation contract testing or API mocking tools.
