Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team in the Facilities & Environment industry. This role is crucial in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic attention to detail and the ability to work independently. As a Cleaner you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are kept in pristine condition contributing to the overall health and safety of the environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms replenishing supplies as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or in a similar role.
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals proper storage and disposal methods.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical condition and stamina.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if required.
