About this Position
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN (as-needed) X-ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality radiographic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for professionals seeking supplemental income or a varied work environment.
- Required Qualifications:
- Vocational/Technical
- Radiologic Technology (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
- Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid Oklahoma radiologic technologist license.
- Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
- Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions promptly.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health system.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic support.
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to a diverse university population.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
