Job Skills / Requirements
We are seeking a professional and reliable On-Call / Casual Security Guard to join our team in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team of security professionals to ensure the safety security and positive experience of all visitors and tenants on site.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
- Patrol the property regularly to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
- Monitor for security breaches hazards or suspicious behavior.
- Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms medical incidents and other urgent situations.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident and activity reports using company software.
- Follow established site procedures and maintain communication with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- BST Required AST Preferred
- OFA Level 1 Required OFA Level 2 Preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional dependable and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Able to patrol and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in security or customer service is an asset.
- Must be available for on-call/casual shifts including evenings and weekends.
Certification Requirements (All)
British Columbia Security License
