Job Summary

The client is looking for a Java full-stack developer to accelerate product development and get more done for the overall roadmap for their flagship workforce management offering HotSchedules Labor. Currently the team is international with developers and QA from Ukraine Latin America and the US. This will be a perfect opportunity to master your English language skills as many meetings are conducted in English. Most devs in the team are full-stack developers although the backlog is heavier on backend tasks hence some experience in front end development (ReactJS) will be needed.

Responsibilities:

Develop new features from the product backlog;
Develop REST services to support high-volume low-latency web and mobile apps;
Design and implement DB schema to allow new functionality;
Maintain existing codebase.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java 11; familiarity with Java 17 or newer versions is a plus;
Hands-on experience with the Spring framework;
Solid understanding of JavaScript HTML and CSS;
Practical experience working with ReactJS;
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a bonus;
Knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform is considered an advantage;
Familiarity with a range of AI tools is expected;
English language skills at an upper-intermediate level or higher.
