The Opportunity:

Routes: Auckland Wharf and Metro Auckland with occasional trips to Hamilton or Tauranga.
Locations: Based out of our site in Onehunga.
Hours: min 40 hours per week full-time permanent positions.AM shift (5am start) and PM shift available.

What youll do:

Operate a Class 5 Container Truck for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery to sites across Auckland and Auckland Ports.
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What you will bring to the team:

A valid Clean Class 5 Licence and Dangerous Goods Licence. Swing Lift certificate highly desirable.
A minimum of 2 years recent experience operating Class 5 Skeletal Trailer Truck transporting containers is essential.
Experience with Skully Tipping Swinglift Truck & Trailer Container Trailers is highly desirable.
Sound knowledge of the Auckland Ports and Metro Auckland routes.
Excellent communication time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
A comprehensive understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
