Job Summary
Process Operations Technicians report to the Operations Shift Supervisor and are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of process equipment and systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all duties with a focus on safety environmental stewardship and best operating practices.
- Operate and maintain process equipment and systems according to standard procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Troubleshoot operational problems complete repairs and perform preventative maintenance duties.
- Monitor and record operational data including production rates and inventory levels.
- Conduct visual inspections and perform necessary maintenance on equipment.
- Demonstrate competency in operating fixed and mobile equipment.
- Continuously seek to improve work environment and processes.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)
- Prior experience in industrial operations or water treatment beneficial
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Physical ability to stand sit climb stairs and lift up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to work in a surface mine plant setting with exposure to various environmental conditions
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
- Must pass pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing
