Why Ballys:

Ballys Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a first-in-class sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.

With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).

The Role:

As a Surveillance Shift Manager you will support the overall integrity of gaming and the protection of all guests employees and Company assets. Additionally you will be responsible for Surveillance Operations on the Casino in the absence of the Director of Surveillance.

Responsibilities:

Foster an environment that embodies Ballys Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Ballys customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
Manage the overall operations of the Surveillance department
Establish implement and enforce policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements Company initiatives and organizational goals
Manage the departments budget including capital expenditures
Select train and develop team members through education training coaching and corrective action
Safeguard company assets of the entire facility
Review all Surveillance Incident Reports
Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of Ballys Chicago Operating Co. LLC System of Internal Controls
Support the Illinois Gaming Board and Chicago Police Department on investigations
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must have casino surveillance leadership experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
High school or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree is preferred
Must have knowledge of all casino game rules
Must have knowledge of all applicable gaming regulations
Must have three years of experience in surveillance operations particularly in a leadership role
Must have above-average math skills
Must have strong organizational and decision-making abilities
Must have excellent customer and employee relations skills
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work flexible shifts including weeknights weekends and holiday

Target Salary Range: $65000 - $70000/ per year
