Overnight Security Guard Full Time

At Parks Hospitality Group we are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our hotel property guests team members and this highly visible role you will play a critical part in maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting regular patrols monitoring activities and responding to incidents as needed.

What Youll Do:

• Conduct regular foot patrols of hotel interior and exterior identifying potential safety or security risks.
• Investigate disturbances complaints thefts vandalism or accidents within hotel premises.
• Assist with valet parking and luggage handling providing a welcoming and secure environment for guests.
• Respond to emergency situations like fires or hazards remaining calm and professional.
• Monitor building security through cameras and other surveillance equipment.
• Respond to safety threats promptly assisting management with security-related issues.
• Complete incident reports related to security matters and follow up on actions taken.
• Communicate effectively with management guests and team members ensuring safety and compliance with hotel policies.
• Perform security checks in public areas ensuring all areas are secure.
• Stay informed on hotel activities services and emergency procedures to address issues proactively.

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a security or similar role.
• Valid drivers license to assist with Valet.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or required upon hire).
• Ability to handle situations with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving mediation and communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during emergency situations.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods while patrolling the hotel.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds bend kneel and maintain alertness in all situations.
• Good hearing and attention to sounds with the ability to observe and recognize potential threats.
