Job Summary and Responsibilities
A CommonSpirit Health Traveler RN is a direct clinical patient care registered nurse (RN) who provides independent patient care within their scope of practice. The nurse is highly skilled in patient care; actively enhancing core nursing skills and developing advanced nursing knowledge skills abilities and behaviors through education and involvement in nursing activities beyond basic job requirements and responsibilities.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g. labor and delivery pediatrics maternal-child health)
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
- Current certification from AHA in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility state licensure and other regulatory requirements for local state and federal agencies.
- Certification in Specialty preferred; Certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served. System and Hospital specific and regulatory training as defined for role.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
