Job Description
We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects being part of a diverse and multicultural Enterprise Capabilities Team (Poland/Spain).
Heres what youll do:
- Works as part of a linear infrastructures team with other designers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland Spain India..). Undertakes non-routine medium complex projects supported by EC.
- Coordinates and leads small design teams focused on highway design for a specific project.
- Conducts none complex value engineering evaluations determining alternative designs materials construction techniques.
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices with latitude to determine work priorities.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings including participation in interdisciplinary reviews.
- Ensures that project technical goals/milestones/ budgets are met.
- Prepares complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff providing supervision to and mentoring less experienced staff.
Qualifications :
Heres what were looking for:
- Proven track record of working on highway designs and collaborating with international and multi-cultural teams (7 years).
- Proficiency in geometrical design at least one of the following software packages: InRoads OpenRoads OpenRail Rail Track Civil 3D Geopak 12d Model.
- Proven commitment with Quality Control Policy and Quality Management System.
- Experience working in the North America region / Australia will be considered favorably.
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- CV in English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
- US and/or Australia Professional Engineer license will be considered favorably.
