AECOM are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen our existing nuclear pipeline. 

As the Nuclear Business Development Lead you will have the vision and passion we need to strengthen and grow our nuclear portfolio. You will be responsible for securing AECOMs future pipeline of Nuclear Work through the strategy developed with the Senior Nuclear team.  

You will lead the development of new opportunities and will establish key contacts with clients partners contractors and suppliers. You will develop the contacts required to grow our business building on a demonstrable specialism in this area.  

Heres what youll do:

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth in the nuclear and defence sectors 
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities markets and partnerships 
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders including government contractors and industry partners 
  • Lead the development of the opportunities pipeline and proposals for new frameworks and projects 
  • Monitor and analyse market trends competitor activities and regulatory changes affecting the nuclear and defence industries 
  • Plan a yearly strategy for representation at nuclear industry events in line with key pursuits.

Qualifications :

Ready to push the limits of whats possible

Heres what were looking for:

Experience:  

  • Demonstrable record of successfully planning bidding and winning new work  
  • Able to provide strategic guidance based on knowledge and experience of the nuclear sector.  
  • Proven experience of providing leadership and undertaking business development with the nuclear sector.  

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Degree in Engineering/Business (or equivalent) 
  • Chartered Member of the relevant Institution (or working towards) 
  • Demonstrable expertise and an extensive track record in a business development 
  • Full UK driving license 
  • Able to meet the requirements for security clearance in the UK. 

You will also be self-motivated with an ability to work both autonomously where required with a strong sense of commitment a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment.
