As an intern your focus will be on optimizing measurements processes and material characterizations that support next-generation hardware innovations. You will work closely within the multi-disciplinary teams including design materials metrology and product development. You will learn new process capabilities executing design of experiments (DOE) support failure mode analyses and contribute to performance and reliability measurements. You will bring a unique blend of technical expertise within the area of process development chemistry and/or material science. Furthermore a strong problem-solving capability and a collaborative mindset to help develop early-stage concepts with the vision on scalable high-volume manufacturing solutions
- Currently enrolled in a M.S. Degree or equivalent in Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Chemistry or a related field.
- Understanding of developing assembly processes and implementing data-driven process improvements.
- Experience in programming and in data analytics such as design of experiments and root cause investigations.
- Ability to work hands-on and independent in the lab within a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Open-minded and adaptable in fast-paced evolving environments.
- Creative quick-thinking persistent and empathetic with a team-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge in optical mechanical and/or materials metrology techniques.
- Experience in CAD software
- Experience in electronics is an advantage
