Lowcode Engineer – Outsystems

Arηs Group Part of Accenture is looking for a Lowcode Engineer for one of its clients in Brussels a key player in the Belgian health insurance domain.

Context

• Building and developing projects and functionalities related to insurance; online simulations for (potential) members online conclusion of new policies changes to policies termination of policies etc.
• Working in an Agile approach.

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible for implementing the requirements (Epics User Stories ...)
• Scrum is used to build the solution by collaborating with the business solution architect and analyst/testers to ensure correct delivery of functionalities.
• Building and developing projects around the functionalities of the Web App.
• Developing new Outsystems (front-end and back-end) apps.
• Liaising efficiently with stakeholders such as business or functional analysts and the solution architect to ensure clear understanding of task priorities.
• Ensuring that your code is fully covered with unit tests.
• Proposing technical improvements and defending them to the solution architect.
• Supporting the analyst/tester with functional tests.
• Analyzing integrations with other parties and systems.
• Working out the technical design based on a functional analysis.
• Working together with a solution architect to install the applications and monitoring their operation.
• Providing comprehensive documentation for your software while maintaining appropriate detail.

Qualifications :

Your profile

• Critical with good analytical and synthesis skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Sense of quality accuracy and a no-nonsense mentality
• Stress-resistant
• Result-oriented proactive dynamic ...
• Dutch speaker good knowledge of English is a must.

Technical skills

• Very thorough knowledge (minimum 4 years of experience) of LowCode and more specifically of the Outsystems platform
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Scrum as an Agile methodology
• Knowledge of JIRA/Confluence would be considered an asset
