Job Summary
Our core missions include:
- Crafting mid to long-term energy management strategies for Air Liquides European affiliates.
- Energy Sourcing: Securing essential energy for our operations by negotiating contracts and executing transactions on commodity markets.
- Supporting energy transition projects by sourcing long-term renewable power.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Reporting to the Energy & Business Administration lead and under the supervision of a dedicated Energy Strategy Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the monthly financial closing process for our Electricity portfolio which includes consolidating over 1 billion in costs and sales.
- Deliver in-depth performance analysis and reported to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage and improve key processes within our energy management value chain.
-Transition our current system from a spreadsheet-based to a robust object-oriented platform creating a foundation for a modern business intelligence (BI) driven environment.
- Drive continuous improvement by analyzing energy performance data and processes and proposing new initiatives.

Masters degree of Science in Engineering (civil industrial energy chemistry bio environment ...)
Business/Commercial Sciences General Management.
Soft and Hard Skills
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong foundation in the energy sector.
- Energy Market Knowledge: You must have a background in or a genuine interest in learning about energy markets.
- Transversal Management Skills: This is a dynamic role that requires close collaboration with multiple departments so strong interpersonal and transversal management skills are essential.
- Agility and Drive: You must be a quick learner with a results-oriented mindset. Your ability to adapt and perform will be key to succeeding in this role.
- Data Analytics: You will need to dive deep into data and analytical tools to generate valuable insights for our customers and society.
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
