About the Role

This is a hands-on people-focused role for a skilled professional who is passionate about youth development and social justice. Youll work directly with young people living in Transitional Housing and our Lilydale Youth Foyersupporting them to access accommodation education employment and community connections.

Your work will be deeply relational and responsive driven by the voices and needs of the young people we support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide case management and support to young people (1625) in transitional or foyer accommodation.
  • Support family reconciliation and independence-building.
  • Assist with private rental and housing applications.
  • Coordinate referrals goal setting and care plans.
  • Run group programs and after-hours activities essential to the Foyer model.
  • Build strong networks with schools services and community groups.
  • Manage and distribute brokerage funds.
  • Maintain high-quality case notes and records.

Hours of Work

2 days per week9.00am to 5.06pm

3 days per week12.00pm to 8.06pm

About You

Youll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A confident culturally safe practitioner who listens and empowers.
  • Experienced in youth services housing community development or related fields.
  • Skilled in case management and advocacy.
  • Flexible and comfortable working some after-hours group sessions.
  • Passionate about social justice and strengths-based approaches.
  • A great communicator and collaborative team member.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and a valid drivers licence are essential.
