Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Computer Science Co-op to join our TEF (Technical Engineering Function) team in Fountain Inn United States. This cooperative education opportunity will provide hands-on experience in business process systems and industrial engineering applications allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- Support the TEF6 IE group with digitalization projects and automated reporting using VBA and other computer languages / tools
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement with TEF7 group - equipment digitalization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions using AI solutions and support
- Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in the development of operator work instructions as needed
- Support the team in various computer science related improvement projects as needed - i4.0 related
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3.0 min. GPA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic PowerBI experience preferred
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and improvement principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a professional setting
- Relevant coursework or academic projects in computer science programming machine languages automation and AI capabilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
