Inova Center of Personalized Health is looking for a dedicated Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist leads a team through complex problem-solving and facilitates cross-functional teams. Advises the executive leadership team while using continuous improvement and project management methodologies to drive initiatives forward

Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with leaders to support high-profile projects that transform the way we care for patients across our health system often acting as a strategic advisor system-wide projects sponsored by C-Suite team members.
- Leads cross-functional teams through a methodical process to assess improve and sustain results while leveraging Project Management and Continuous Improvement best practices.
- Develops and delivers project communications which includes executive-level presentations.
- Coaches clinical and system service team members (executive and c-suite leaders) in Continuous Improvement fundamentals.
- Applies and teaches the Continuous Improvement toolset (DMAIC process mapping standard work visual management as examples) for use in a variety of settings including clinical support and executive.
- Participates in creating and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization by encouraging employees to identify areas for improvement and contributing to the development of a more efficient and effective organization.
- Mentors and supports the members of the Continuous Improvement team to advance their technical and adaptive skills.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience: 5 years of experience with Toyota Production System fluency
- Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Proven ability to analyze complex workflows identify inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions to enhance quality efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Proficiency in data analysis performance metrics and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau Excel or other analytics software).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive measurable results.
- Excellent communication collaboration and change management skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
