DescriptionThe Role
Coordinate and lead installation of dock and door construction projects in South Island in cold storage dairy & food processing logistics & warehousing retail & supermarket architecture & trades and more.
Duties include:
- Planning and leading project installations onsite
- Coordinating subcontractors and Ulti Installers
- Managing schedules budgets and resourcesto deliver jobs profitably through service excellence
- Communicating with clients site managers and other trades
- Ensuring jobs are completed safely on time and to Ulti standards
- Admin and time management
Skills And ExperiencesAbout You
Youre a hands-on leader who takes pride in getting projects across the line. Youre just as comfortable in steel caps as in a meeting and you know how to earn respect on-site.
Youll bring:
- Strong organisational and leadership skills(a team and project leader)
- Strong communicator to represent the brand well
- Construction industry knowledge particularly reading shop drawings
- Confidence managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple jobs
- Sound understanding of project and site management processes
- Understanding of compliance related legislation
- Attention to detail
- Problem Solver
- Confident using IT systems
- Past mechanical and/or electrical experience would be an advantage
- Able to build relationships and have the ability to lead a team
- Career-minded with a desire to grow
- Positive attitude with a desire to succeed
- Prior Site Management experience with an engineering type company would be an advantage
