Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product cloud and firmware teams to launch innovative smart home (IoT) products for the North American region.
- Develop new components and enhance existing modules for Bosch Mobile platform App such as EasyAir App implementing pixel-perfect accessible React Native designs.
- Ensure ADA compliance and inclusive design principles across mobile app interfaces.
- Translate high-fidelity wireframes and design mockups into robust reusable and testable React Native components.
- Integrate and visualize real-time IoT data streams from Bosch connected products ensuring seamless user interactions.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to research scope and test new features improving the customer journey.
- Utilize analytics and behavioral data to identify opportunities for UI/UX improvement and user engagement optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mobile application issues; perform regression testing and assist with release validation.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning standups demos retrospectives) within an Agile development environment.
- Identify feature improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive) from AWS X-Ray logs user stories ticket backlogs requirements documents etc.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 4-5 years of professional software development experience.
- 3 years of experience in mobile application development using React Native
- 3 years of experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- 1 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (Amplify API Gateway Lambda S3 DynamoDB).
- Experience with ADA accessibility standards and implementing accessible mobile designs. (Highly preferred)
- Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization responsive layouts and cross-platform consistency.
- Experience with Git-based version control (GitHub Bitbucket).
- Familiarity with App Store and Play Store
- Experience with Xcode and Android Studio
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect or related identity management and login protocols
- Experience with UI/UX design systems Figma or similar design collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline Jenkins etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail scalability and maintainability.
- Experience with Atlassian Jira/Confluence in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within distributed teams across time zones.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
