As a key member of the NALP Marketing team the selected candidate will drive the strategy vision and go-to-market approach to continue advancing Marketing Services to a profitable and strong revenue driver for Visa in LEVANT.
Marketing Services is a quickly growing business and part of Visas overall strategic growth priority to deliver value added services revenue through client engagements. We are focused on delivering value to our clients through marketing advisory and execution services. This role provides leadership and guidance to country Client Marketing teams across LEVANT and partners closely with regional counterparts Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Sales teams and Finance to execute a range of service lines from research and insights to marketing strategy and execution.
Our Hub Marketing Services team is focused on enabling and supporting our country Client Marketing teams in delivering outstanding client engagements and achieving revenue and margin objectives.
We seek a results-driven motivated leader who can set a clear vision for growth. The candidate should have a positive solution-oriented attitude and excel in collaboration. They must have a solid track record of managing high-performance teams and experience in a global matrix environment. The individual will bring proven marketing expertise in world-class brands to elevate our Marketing Services function in LEVANT. This role reports to the VP CEMEA Marketing Services and has a dotted line to the NALP Senior Director of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication plans tailored to client and market needs.
- Lead end-to-end management of client marketing programs including planning execution and post-campaign analysis.
- Support activation of global sponsorships (e.g. FIFA AFCON) and product platforms with clients.
- Client Engagement & Growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with issuers merchants MNOs and fintechs.
- Provide marketing consultancy insights and campaign support to drive Visa portfolio growth.
- Influence client participation in Visa marketing activities and negotiate financial terms of engagement.
- Marketing Services Delivery
- Manage Marketing In-Kind (MIK) and Value-In-Kind (VIK) processes ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
- Deliver marketing insights research and benchmarking to enhance client strategies.
- Scale MIK opportunities and replicate best practices across markets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (VCA Product Legal Finance) to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
- Coordinate with external agencies suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely and impactful campaign delivery.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee budgets timelines and deliverables for all marketing initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with global and regional marketing strategies and KPIs.
- Manage administrative processes related to client contracting and reporting.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in marketing preferably in financial services advertising or media agencies.
- Proven track record in managing integrated campaigns and client marketing programs.
- Strong project management negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience with global sponsorship frameworks (e.g. FIFA) is a strong advantage.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-stakeholder environment.
