Accounts Payable Specialist FTC (18 months)

We are  looking for a motivated and ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to join us in our Budapest office. This is not just another AP role youll own critical processes drive improvements and help shape how our finance operations scale globally in a fast-growing fintech.

What Youll Be Doing

• Take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable process from invoice intake and coding to reconciliation and timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Verify vendor master data and bank details to ensure accuracy compliance and risk control.

• Manage and update approval workflows across multiple entities in line with company policies.

• Support month-end and year-end close through AP reconciliations accruals and reporting.

• Provide accurate documentation and support for internal and external audits.

• Contribute to system and process improvements including automation projects testing and training.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For

• A solid understanding of accounts payable principles accounting standards and industry regulations; an accounting qualification or degree is an advantage.

• Experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role fintech or fast-growth company experience is a plus.

• Proficient in ERP and accounting systems such as SAP NetSuite QuickBooks Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

• Advanced spreadsheet skills including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets enabling accurate data analysis and reporting.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain financial processes clearly.

• A proactive hands-on mindset you take ownership solve problems and follow through.

• Ability to work independently and also thrive as part of a collaborative team.

• High attention to detail paired with a drive to get things done.

• Prior experience in SOX compliance and US GAAP principles will be an advantage.

Additional Information :

Salary: 677500 - 840000 HUF gross monthly RSUs
