Job Summary
What youll do
With this role you will be supporting a teenage boy with complex care needs in his home. He lives with his mum and attends school on a reduced timetable. Our client has cerebral palsy epilepsy and learning difficulties. We are looking for a Registered Paediatric Nurse who will bring energy empathy and enthusiasm to every shift.
You will be someone who values building strong relationships and providing high-quality and attentive care.
The key duties with this role include:
- Seizure management
- Peg feeding
- Medication administration
- Play therapy/stimulation
- Personal care
- Manual handling
- Suction
Qualifications :
What youll need
- Registered Childrens Nurse Diploma/Degree with an up-to-date NMC Pin
- Commitment to providing the best possible care for the client
- To be self-motivated enthusiastic caring and compassionate
- Previous paediatric nurse experience
- Experience in peg feeding and catheter care is also essential.
