Job Summary
Join our team at Shodair Childrens Hospital where accuracy meets impact! Were looking for a detail-loving tech-savvy Health Information Technician (HIT) to help keep our patients medical records organized complete and accessible.
In this role youll review and process inpatient records manage digital documentation through OnBase and ObservSMART and ensure lab results are properly linked in the EMR. Youll collaborate with clinical staff spot documentation trends and help maintain the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
What Youll Bring:
- A knack for organization and attention to detail
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EMR systems Microsoft Office or health information processes
- Education or experience in Health Information Management or a related field

Two-year Associate Degree of Applied Arts & Sciences with graduation from an approved H.I.M. Technician program or related field.; or Two years of medical office or medical record experience or Two years of experience with EMR systems and document scanning required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
