Job Summary

Sacred Heart School is seeking an Aftercare worker to help supervise and care for students after is a part-time afternoon position. Candidates should be responsible dependable and enjoy working with children.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Greeting and checking students in/out of the program.
Supervising students indoors and outdoors ensuring safety at all times.
Engaging students in age-appropriate activities and homework help.
Enforcing school rules and maintaining a positive respectful environment.
Assisting with cleanup and organization of program materials.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education or child development preferred
Experience working with children in a school daycare or camp setting is a plus
Ability to manage groups of children calmly and effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience reliability and a caring demeanor
