Role description:
The Environmental Business Line of Arcadis is seeking an ambitious hardworking dependable Toxicologist/Risk Assessor to join our world-class firm. The preferred location for this position is Seattle Washington.
This full-time position within ourRisk Assessment and Toxicology Services group will support our diverse environmental assessment and restoration projects as well as product stewardship projects. The ideal candidate will possess greatattention to detail excellent written and verbal communication skills ability to workindependently ability to work as a productive member of a high-performance team and a passion for continued learning.
Role accountabilities:
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to performing literature reviews and hazard evaluations for chemical substances as well as critically reviewing toxicological literature. The role also requires reviewing toxicological data performing dose-response modeling identifying points of departure and developing toxicity reference values according to U.S. and international guidelines. You will be responsible for performing exposure assessments for environmental consumer professional and occupational settings in addition to assessing human health and/or ecological risk.
Further responsibilities include reviewing analytical data and instrumental analysis methods and preparing visual graphical and tabular summaries of toxicological and environmental data. Interpreting state and federal regulations is also an important aspect of the position along with technical report writing. You will be expected to develop presentations and present information to large audiences at conferences and to work effectively with local and national project teams clients and all other stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be detail oriented well organized self-motivated and collaborative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Software are requirements for this position

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
