Job Title: Business Developer Commercial Landscape Maintenance
Location: Salt Lake County UT
Position Summary:Our client is a leading full-service commercial landscape company and is seeking a driven and experienced Business Developer to join its team. This individual will be responsible for generating new business expanding client relationships and promoting maintenance services to property managers developers and commercial real estate professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Identifies and secures new commercial maintenance contracts to meet sales and revenue goals.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients understanding their property needs and offering tailored service solutions.
Conducts market research to stay ahead of industry trends identify potential leads and monitor competitor activity.
Collaborates with internal teams to prepare service proposals maintenance plans and presentations aligned with client expectations.
Manages the full sales cyclefrom lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
Attends networking events trade shows and industry functions to build brand awareness and generate business leads.
Provides regular reporting to senior leadership on pipeline activity sales performance and market feedback.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Horticulture or a related field (preferred).
Proven success in business development sales or client relationship management within the commercial landscape maintenance industry.
Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices seasonal service requirements and commercial property standards.
Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
