Job Summary
Are you an Environmental Tech or a Quality Tech who wants to join a team redefining industrial sustainabilityright where it happens. Our client seeks an Environmental Technicianto support a major manufacturing partner inRichmond IN. Reporting to the Operations Manager youll beon-site full-time driving daily sustainability compliance and waste management initiatives that make a real impact.
What Youll Do
- Coordinate on-site waste collection storage labeling and removal
- Inspect for environmental compliance and document corrective actions
- Train plant staff on safe waste handling and cleanup practices
- Schedule and manage all waste pickups in line with state and federal laws
- Recommend process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce risk
What You Bring
- Working knowledge of EHS and waste management practices OR experience as a Quality Technician that will incude inspection and documentation
- Ability to identify hazards and recommend practical solutions a plus
- Strong teamwork communication and independent problem-solving skills
- Forklift experience (or willingness to learn)
- High school diploma or GED; 13 years experience in EHS waste management Quality in manufacturing new grads in EHS or Chemistry encouraged to apply!
- RCRA DOT and HAZWOPER certifications a plus
