Job Description: Knowledge Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Logistics Analyst who is intimately familiar with Marine Corps Logistics Command Marine Corps logistics strategies policy and plans. This position will focus on audit related activities specific to Marine Corps Logistics Command:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting end-to-end process mapping and accompanying narratives for Logistics Command workflows
- Supporting the development of Quality Instructions Supply Instructions and procedures for Logistics Command support activities
- Conducting inventories of assets supporting audit requirements
- Reviewing reconciling and troubleshooting supply maintenance and inventory records to ensure proper accountability and reporting of equipment/stores
- Reconciling physical inventories and authenticating Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) related to shipments.
- Assessing shipment delivery outcomes to confirm receipt by intended recipients and identifying requirements for adjustment letters to enable the generation of DD Form 1348s for accurate account receipting.
- Initiating and facilitating communication with originators and Item Managers to coordinate asset integration into appropriate accounts verify client authorization and determine if assets required inclusion in the clients scope of use.
- Finalizing and submitting validated weekly status reports to the Deputy Director of the Supply Division outlining completed cargo movements and ongoing actions. Leading and supporting the management and execution of Operational Planning Teams Working Groups Cross Functional Teams and staff synchronization meetings.
- Performing Headquarters Marine Corps staff activity task execution in the Marine Corps task management system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or higher) in a business or management field of study
- Minimum of 9 years of experience with U.S. Marine Corps logistics (17 years if no degree)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on logistics and supply chain management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Marine Corps logistics experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a robust work environment.
Security Clearance:
- Active DoD Secret security clearance required.
