Automation Controls Specialist

Job Purpose

To design test commission electrical control systems for Baker Perkins machinery meeting contractual/customer requirements within time and budget restraints.

Main Duties

Design our control panels using our standard or designing from scratch
Specify and issue electrical hardware parts lists according to contract specifications specify technical requirements for bought out equipment
Develop and produce PLC and HMI software (Siemens Rockwell Mitsubishi)
Produce machine functional specifications and test specifications
Test equipment in our factory / test centre
Help the Commissioning Engineers traveling to customer sites
Propose permanent technical assistance in pre-sale and post-sale
Help research and develop new products

Candidate Profile

Background and/or experience in Industrial Electrical Engineering at an equipment builder if possible
Professional experience (or apprenticeship) in control panel design
Experience of programming PLC systems and HMI software
Ability and pleasure to travel around the world for some weeks per year
Know how to take initiative
Solution-driven and customer-oriented sensibility
Team spirit and sense of commitment
